Support Terms of Service

These terms govern RentSpace's conditional rent support. By applying for or receiving rent support, you agree to these terms in addition to our main Terms of Use.

1. What Rent Support Is

Rent support is a conditional top-up provided by RentSpace when you have saved at least 70% of your rent goal. We add up to 30% (in Cycle 1), up to 50% (in Cycle 2), or up to 70% (in Cycle 3+) so that 100% of your rent can be disbursed directly to your landlord. Support is not a cash advance to you; it is paid only to your landlord.

2. Eligibility by Cycle

  • Cycle 1: Basic KYC + Guarantor required. Support up to 30% of rent.
  • Cycle 2: Enhanced KYC (income proof, landlord docs). Support up to 50%.
  • Cycle 3+: Collateral and/or Salary Domiciliation (for salaried earners). Support up to 70%.

You must have reached the 70% savings milestone and submitted all required documents (valid ID, proof of address, landlord and property info, income evidence, guarantor form, and where applicable collateral or salary domiciliation) before support is approved.

3. Disbursement and Repayment

Once approved, 100% of the rent (your savings plus our support) is transferred from your SpaceWallet to your landlord's account. No cash is paid to you. The support amount (plus any applicable charge) must be repaid over your next rent cycle. Repayments are automatically deducted from your wallet according to the schedule we provide. You will receive reminders before each deduction.

4. Default and Consequences

If you miss repayments, we may follow escalation steps including reminders, contact with your guarantor, and in serious cases referral to credit bureaus or recovery processes. Continued access to rent support and other RentSpace features may be restricted until the matter is resolved.
